"Can I actually wash it without ruining it?"
Yes — but check the sewn-in care label first because instructions vary by character.
- Most styles: surface wash / spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild detergent
- Some characters: gentle machine wash, cold water, inside a pillowcase or mesh laundry bag, no fabric softener
- Never: tumble dry, wring, iron, or dry clean
To dry: press out water with a towel, reshape, and air dry flat in a well-ventilated spot. A soft-bristle brush after drying brings the fluff back. If your plush has glued-on or embroidered features, always spot-clean to be safe.
"Is this safe for a newborn or baby?"
